Our custom badges our made with high quality brass material cloisonne. A die is created from the your artwork or design. The die is used to create a mold. Next, the image is stamped onto a brass metal sheet and lettering is engraved into the brass. If desired we can add glass enamel coloring with a cloisonne technique. The badge is placed in a kiln and the glass enamel melts into the lettering. The enamel is grinded against a stone to expose inscriptions. Next, the surface is highly polished to a mirror finish. The badges are then plated with your choice of finish. We can add 3 dimensional elements or cutouts if desired.
